# Create with Screen & Webcam

### What is the Supademo screen+webcam recorder?

Supademo’s built-in screen recorder lets you capture quick videos of your **desktop, webcam, or both**—without needing any external tools.

Whether you're adding a **personalized intro**, creating a **one-off screen recording**, or showcasing a **workflow update**, you can do it all directly inside Supademo.

Available on all **paid plans**, this feature allows you to combine **interactive demos, screen recordings, and annotated screenshots**—all in one seamless experience.

### How to record your window, desktop, or webcam

1. From within any edit page of your Supademo click on **"Add Step" ➡ "Record Cam & Screen"**.
2. Choose your desired layout (camera, screen, or combination). Depending on your selection, you’ll also have the option to choose your audio and video inputs—select which microphone and camera devices you’d like to use for recording. Click ‘Allow’ to give Supademo access to record your screen. Then you can hit "**Record**"!

{% hint style="info" %}
Note: Clicking the mic icon will mute your recording, and no audio will be captured.
{% endhint %}

1. Click "**Stop Recording**" once finished. Your screen recording video will be added as a step within your Supademo, or as a standalone file you can download or share as a link.

{% hint style="info" %}
After you've completed your recording, you can optionally use [video splitting](https://docs.supademo.com/article/130-video-splitting) or add hotspots to make your video interactive. This also means that you can create interactive demos, screen recordings, and shareable screenshots – all in one place.
{% endhint %}
