What is the Video Editor?

The Video Editor is a completely rebuilt editing interface that lets you edit video recordings with smoother splitting, precise timeline control, and more editing options than ever before.

With the new visual timeline, you can split videos into segments, trim specific parts, adjust playback speed, mute sections, and more — all within Supademo. No need for external video editing tools.

How to Use the Video Editor

1. Open a video step in your demo.

2. Click "Edit" next to the video controls to access the new editing interface.

3. Use the timeline to navigate — click anywhere to jump to that frame.

4. Click "Split" to divide the video at the current position.

5. Select a segment to access editing options:

   • Trim — Adjust start and end points

   • Speed — Change playback speed for the segment

   • Mute — Remove audio from the segment

   • Duplicate/Delete — Manage segments as needed

6. Repeat for other segments as required.

7. Click "Save" to finalize your edits.

💡 Tip: When you split a video, an image step is automatically inserted between the two trimmed video segments.
