# Instant AI Voice Clone

Instant AI Voice Clone generates high-quality AI narration that sounds just like you. Record a sample of your voice for at least 60 seconds, and Supademo builds a personalized voice model you can use to narrate any demo. Your cloned voice can be **Personal** (only you can use it) or **shared with your workspace** (available to all team members), which keeps brand voice consistent across your organization's demos. It is one of four narration methods in [Voiceovers](https://docs.supademo.com/customize/voiceovers).

## Clone Your Voice by Recording In-App

Recording in the editor is the fastest way to create a clone. Work in a quiet environment, and set aside about two minutes.

1. Open any demo in the Supademo editor and open the **Voiceover** menu.
2. Select **Clone your voice**.
3. Configure your clone in the cloning modal:
   * **Name:** Type in a name for your cloned voice
   * **Language:** Select your preferred language (defaults to English)
   * **Sharing scope:** Choose Personal or Shared with workspace
   * **Microphone:** Select your recording device
4. Click **Record** and read the provided sample script aloud — record for at least 60 seconds, and a timer displays your progress.
5. Click **Done** when you've finished reading the script. \[VERIFY: stop-recording button label — the current editor also shows this control as **Stop**]

Supademo shows "Generating your voice clone..." and then confirms "Your voice clone is created" when complete.

## Clone from an Uploaded Audio File

You can also build a clone from a recording you already have, instead of recording live. Upload an audio file of your voice in the cloning modal, then use the playback button to preview the resulting clone before saving it.

## Use Your Cloned Voice

A finished clone behaves like any other voice in the catalog:

1. Your cloned voice appears as the first option in the voices dropdown in your **Voiceover settings**, under AI voiceovers.
2. It displays your first name and a scope badge (Personal or Workspace).
3. Use the ▶️ button to preview your cloned voice.
4. Select your cloned voice and generate voiceovers as usual — see [Instant AI Voiceover](https://docs.supademo.com/customize/voiceovers/instant-ai-voiceover) for the generation steps.

## Manage Your Cloned Voices

Manage clones from the same voices dropdown where you select them:

* **Preview:** Click the ▶️ playback button to hear a sample of your voice.
* **Delete:** Click the 🗑️ delete icon to remove a voice (creators and workspace admins only).
* **Multiple voices:** You can create multiple voice clones; the newest appears first in the dropdown.
