# Share Permissions

This support page guides you through options for **protecting your valuable** Supademo—especially if you plan to invite additional team members and want to prevent accidental edits, deletion, or archiving.

### Why protect your Supademo?

* You’ve spent considerable time and effort creating demos or templates.
* Inviting new team members increases the risk of accidental changes or project loss.
* Pre-sales demos often contain curated content essential for sales and onboarding workflows.
* You may want to make content accessible to you only or private from some customers.

### Controlling access

You can restrict access to specific Supademos in a variety of methods:

**1/ User-based access**: move your Supademo to specific workspaces or **personal spaces to make it editable by you only.**

{% @supademo/embed demoId="cme34cuoc1969h3pygjsg82pd" url="<https://app.supademo.com/demo/cme34cuoc1969h3pygjsg82pd>" %}

**2/ Role-based permissions:** only grant [creator/editor access](https://docs.supademo.com/admin-and-billing/workspace-maintenance/workspace-and-team-management/roles-and-permissions) to specific, trusted users on your workspace.

**3/ Password protect demos:** use [chapters](https://docs.supademo.com/customize/chapters) and [password protection](https://docs.supademo.com/customize/chapters/password-protect) / [lead gating](https://docs.supademo.com/customize/chapters/forms-and-lead-capture) to restrict access.

**4/ Use expiring share links**: use trackable links to create [links that expire](https://docs.supademo.com/share/share-link/expiring-share-links) after a given time period.
