# Conferences

How to run conference booth demos with Supademo: autoplay loops on TVs, self-serve tablets, and offline demos that keep working without event wifi.

A conference demo is an interactive product walkthrough running on your booth's TVs, tablets, and laptops, built to survive the two things that kill booth demos: crowds and venue wifi. Supademo covers both. Demos export as self-contained offline demos that need no connection at all, and every booth device can capture leads and log engagement for post-event follow-up.

## How to build it in Supademo

1. Build one attractor demo for screens: 2 to 3 minutes, one wow workflow, minimal text. Set it to autoplay and loop with captions so it sells silently over booth noise.
2. Build one hands-on demo for tablets and laptops: a sandbox demo attendees explore themselves while reps talk to someone else.
3. Export both as [offline demos](/share/exports.md). An offline demo is fully self-contained and runs without wifi, so the booth works during the opening-day network collapse and at field visits with no connectivity at all.
4. Add a [form chapter](https://docs.supademo.com/customize/chapters/forms-and-lead-capture) to the hands-on demo as a badge-scanner substitute: name, business email, company, captured mid-demo on the booth iPad.
5. Create a separate trackable link per event and per device, with UTM parameters, so Tuesday's booth traffic is distinguishable from Wednesday's in [analytics](/analyze/session-metrics.md).
6. After the event, export leads from Lead Data as CSV or let CRM sync file them automatically, then have reps send each engaged attendee the leave-behind version of the booth demo.

**Example:** This mobile demo of Kindred Living runs just as well offline as online — exactly what a booth needs when conference wifi disappears mid-conversation.

## Frequently asked questions

### How do I run a product demo at a trade show without wifi?

Export your Supademo as an offline demo. It is fully self-contained, so it runs on booth laptops and tablets with no connection, no hotspot, and no dependence on venue infrastructure. Build and test it before you travel, load it onto every device, and the demo performs identically whether the venue network works or not.

### How do I capture leads at a conference booth?

Add a native form chapter to the demo running on your hands-on devices. Attendees enter name, email, and company as part of the walkthrough, with business-email-only and validation options to keep the list clean. Leads appear in Lead Data analytics with CSV export and sync to your CRM, tagged by the per-event link so you know exactly which show produced them.

### What should run on the booth TV?

A 2 to 3 minute Supademo on autoplay loop with captions: one workflow, one wow moment, no sound required. It works as an attractor that pulls passersby in while your reps stay in conversations, and the same demo becomes the follow-up link reps send after the show.
