Demo Library

How to build a sales demo library in Supademo: folders, Showcases, and tags that give every rep a current, on-message demo for each feature and persona.

A demo library is a curated, organized collection of interactive demos that reps pull from for every deal and buyers explore on their own, replacing the scattered screen recordings and stale decks that accumulate across a sales team. In Supademo the library is built from three layers: folders for internal organization, Showcases for buyer-facing bundles, and Demo Hubs for a searchable widget, all fed by master demos that update everywhere when edited once.

How to build it in Supademo

  1. Record modular demos, one workflow each, rather than monolithic full-product tours. Match the demo type to the job: sandbox demos for exploration, [guided HTML demos](../../create/by-demo-type/guided-html-demos) for crisp scripted flows, screenshot and video demos for fast coverage.

  2. Organize masters into folders by product line, persona, or deal stage, and use folder sharing to give the whole team, or a public link, access to a folder's live contents.

  3. Build buyer-facing bundles as Showcases in gallery, sidebar, or checklist layout. Showcases mix demos with videos, PDFs, and links, so one URL carries the demo path plus pricing and security collateral.

  4. For self-serve discovery, publish a Demo Hub: an embeddable widget that groups demos into categories viewers browse and search on your site or inside your product.

  5. When different buyers need different paths, put a Route Hub in front: a short intake form routes each visitor to the Showcase built for their role or segment.

  6. Maintain by editing masters, not copies. Updates propagate to every link, Showcase, and embed, and analytics show views and completion per demo so you retire what nobody opens.

Example: Strava's demo library highlights its key mobile workflows as a browsable showcase — one link a rep or customer can open to find the right walkthrough in seconds.

Frequently asked questions

How do I organize interactive demos for my sales team?

Keep one master demo per workflow in shared Supademo folders, then compose buyer-facing sets as Showcases. Reps personalize copies with variables instead of re-recording, and because masters update everywhere on edit, the library never drifts out of date the way a folder of screen recordings does.

What is the difference between a Showcase and a Demo Hub?

A Showcase is a curated collection at a single link, arranged as a gallery, sidebar, or checklist, and can include demos, videos, PDFs, and links. A Demo Hub is an embeddable widget with searchable categories, designed to live on your website or inside your app for on-demand browsing. Use Showcases for a specific audience, Demo Hubs for everyone.

Can buyers explore a demo library without talking to a rep?

Yes. Publish a Showcase or Demo Hub publicly and buyers self-serve the full library. Add a Route Hub intake form to route each visitor to the right path and capture who they are, or attach an AI Demo Agent to answer questions, run the relevant demo, and hand qualified buyers to sales.
