Media Fit for Slides
In cases where the aspect ratio or resolution differs between multiple slides, Supademo will use the aspect ratio (i.e. 1920x1080; 1.78:1) of the first slide to determine the remainder of the slides.
To ensure consistency in the fit of each slide, we recommend using the same aspect ratio, which you can see when you hover over Upload Image. You can also use the Media Fit function below to resize or align subsequent slides as desired.
🛎️ Tip: use the window resize function on the Chrome extension to resize your window to the correct aspect ratio.
It can sometimes be difficult to ensure consistent slide/video widths, aspect ratios, or dimensions across every slide in your Supademo. Especially when you're creating a Supademo from uploads or updating a stale product demo.
Previously, this led to situations where certain slides would get cut off, or some slides would see a "punched in" effect.
Media Fit Mode solves this problem. With this feature, you can fix inconsistent widths, aspect ratios, or resolutions between slides in a single Supademo to reduce distortion and inconsistencies across your slides.
Choose from two different fit modes:
- Cover: Use to expand the current video or image slide to cover the entire Supaemo frame;
- Contain: Use to fit the entire video or image slide to fit within the confines of the Supademo frame.
